2021 Camp Schedule and Prices

General Information for Campers

We we are optimistic and believe things will be in the "new normal" stage by July, therefore we are getting ready for our Summer Camp. Registration is OPEN for summer camp. We also know that there may be changes based on advice by districts and health organizations. If there are changes, tuition will be refunded entirely.  Rest assured that we will be taking all reasonable measures to prevent the spread of Covid in our day camp.  We are committed to keeping kids safe during these unprecedented times. All operations, from our check-in procedures to daily activities, have been designed to deliver a safe, fun experience.

Daily Schedule: 9:00am to 2:00pm. free early drop-off starts at 8:30am.

Location: Lutheran Church in the Foothills, 1700 Foothills Blvd. La Canada, CA 91011

Languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin or German

Week 1:  Spanish & French      July 5 - 9 

Week 2:  Spanish & German    July 12 -16 

Week 3:  Spanish & Mandarin  July 19 – 23 

Week 4:  Spanish & Italian       July 26 – July 30 

Camper to counselor ratio:  groups will be limited to 8 to 10 students per group depending on the incidence of Covid at the time.

Ages: for children entering PK -4rd grade, divided by fluency levels.

Grouping: campers will be grouped by grade and level of experience. There will be two groups of each: one group for children who have had no experience in the language. Another group for children who have been exposed to the language through classes, immersion programs or at home.

*Campers entering PK and Kinder.

*Campers entering 1st and 2nd grades. 

*Campers entering 3rd and 4th grades.

Costs: $359 per week.   Your child cannot attend the entire week? Choose any 3 days for $225.

Payment: Your full payment has to be made at the time of registration, otherwise we cannot guarantee your child's space in camp. Credit card payments on our website are added a 3% processing fee. You can avoid this fee using other forms of payment: VENMO using account name Lango Foothills, or mailing a check payable to Lango Foothills LLC, to 444 Piedmont Ave. #338. Glendale, CA 91206.

 Refunds: full refunds are available only when you cancel within 4 weeks before the beginning of camp. Cancellations between June 2 -July 2 are subject to a 20% cancellation processing fee. All cancellations made anytime once camp has started are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. We plan our camp materials, teachers and the space needed based on a certain number of students, that's why these fees are imposed. If camp is cancelled by Lango, by any reason you will receive a full refund. Full refund will be provided for cancellations due to Covid restrictions at the time.

 Lunch and snacks: must be provided by parents. Camp Lango is a peanut free camp, so for the security of our campers please do not send any meals that contain peanuts. Send healthy and nutritious meals. They do get really hungry!

Make up class policy: as long as there is room, your child is welcome to make up any missed day of camp by attending another week. Please check the schedule and let us know in advance that you will be attending another class. Refunds are not issued for missed days.

Extended care: offered from 2 - 6:00 pm if there are at least five students enrolled. The fee is $200 per week. There are no target language/academic activities  during extended care. Students will supervised and there will be books, table games, legos, etc. for entertainment. Also a  movie may be presented.

All classes are subject to cancellation or change if we don't meet the minimum number of students to open up a class.
